Drain Jetting Branxton
Drain jetting in Branxton cleans a blocked pipe with high-pressure water, cutting out fat, sludge and roots without chemicals or a shovel. It suits kitchen lines, old clay sewers and silted stormwater pipes alike, and you agree a fixed price before any water is turned on.
Our plumber in Branxton team does jetting through the town and out to Greta.

Jetter or Eel: Which Clears Better?
Each tool has its place:
- A water jetter sends fine streams backward and forward from its nozzle, cleaning the whole inside of the pipe as it moves along.
- An electric eel bores through a blockage to get water moving again, but can leave fat and fibre stuck to the walls.
- Jetting carries the debris away down the line, rather than leaving it to collect again at the next bend.
Fat in a kitchen drain or a mass of roots in an old sewer comes out more completely with a jetter. The eel still suits a simple clear, and both tools are on the van.
How Do You Know Jetting Is Needed?
Watch how the house drains:
- A kitchen or laundry outlet that drains a little slower every day
- A gurgle from the pan or the shower waste when another fixture empties
- A sewer smell coming from a drain that never used to smell
- A pipe that was cleared before and is backing up again
When a blockage keeps coming back, something remains in the pipe. A CCTV drain inspection shows whether fat is building up again or roots are returning through a joint, and that tells you whether jetting is enough.
How We Jet a Drain
- 01
Ring or send the form
Call (02) 4063 3475 or use the form to explain the fault. We ask enough to bring the right equipment the first time.
- 02
A fixed price first
A plumber inspects the job and names a fixed figure up front. Nothing gets started until you give the go-ahead.
- 03
Scour and confirm
Fed in from the nearest access point, the nozzle scrubs the pipe section by section, then the camera checks it is clean and in one piece.
- 04
Covered for a year
Every job carries our 365-day warranty on all work. If something we did isn't right, ring the same number.
What Feeds Into the Jetting Price?
We provide up-front, honest quotes that will always match the final price, should you decide to go ahead.
Reaching the pipe is the main factor. Hooking up at an open gully is straightforward, while a pipe reached only through a tight subfloor under an old cottage takes longer.
The price also reflects:
- The pipe material As old ceramic needs a softer setting than PVC
- The distance Since a blockage deep in the run needs more hose and more passes
- Jobs at night or on weekends Which are after-hours work
Old Lines, Reactive Ground, Big Roots
Joints that never sit still
Roots chasing moisture
Storm silt
What Customers Say
We talked through the options of our blocked kitchen sink drain (not just an s bend problem) and came to the perfect long term solution at a reasonable price.
When We're Not the Right Call
A sewer section that has collapsed needs relining or digging out, not another jetting pass, and the camera shows which. Where the choke turns out to be in the shared main, Hunter Water deal with it, and we pass on their faults number.
Jetting Questions From the Valley
Does jetting use chemicals?
No. A jetter uses nothing but water under pressure to cut away fat, sludge and fine roots. Drain chemicals would do little for a root problem in the old clay lines of the town core in any case.
Can jetting damage old clay pipes?
Not when the pressure is set for the pipe. Century-old ceramic is run far softer than a PVC estate drain, and if the camera has already shown a cracked or fallen-in length, we talk through repair options instead of pushing water through it.
How is a jetting job priced?
On how easily the plumber can reach the pipe, its material and how far in the blockage sits. You hear that figure up front, and nothing is done until you agree to it.
Do you jet stormwater lines too?
Yes. Silt and leaves washed in by a summer storm flush out of a stormwater pipe under pressure in the same way kitchen grease does from a sewer, and the camera can check the pipe afterwards on the same visit.
The blocked drains hub covers sewers, stormwater and drains that keep backing up.
